David L. Wagner | LinkedIn
Chief Executive Officer, President and Co-Owner
David started with Vanteon in 2000 as Director of the Rochester Development Center. He became Vice President of Operations in 2001 and served as Co-owner and CEO from 2002 to 2009. In 2006 David was a finalist for the Small Business Council of Rochester Business Person of the Year.  And in 2008 he was given the Distinguished Alumni Award by the B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Science. From 2010 to 2019, David served as Co-owner, President and COO and added CEO back to his responsibilities in February of 2020. His background is in software engineering, project management, and optics from his previous work at Analysts International Corporation and Tropel, Inc. David holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Systems Software Science from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has also served on the RIT Computer Science Industrial Advisory Board and the Executive Advisory Board at Roberts Wesleyan College.

Aaron J. Roof | LinkedIn
Chief Technical Officer
Aaron Roof is a Ph.D. graduate from the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB) in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Communications and Signal Processing. His area of research is in Software Defined Radio and Signal Classification for which he is a patent holder. Aaron is the Chief Technical Officer at Vanteon Corporation where he has worked since 2003. In addition to his Ph.D., he also received a M.S. degree from UB in 2008 and a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1994 where he is now a member of the faculty as an adjunct professor. He has 20+ years of experience working in the area of wireless communication systems and Software Defined Radio.

Ronnie B. Ells | LinkedIn
Chief Financial Officer
Ronnie began his career at Vanteon in 2016 as Assistant Controller until promoted to Controller and then Chief Financial Officer in 2020. His areas of responsibility include accounting, finance, contracts, IT, and human resources. Ronnie is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). In addition, he holds an MBA, Masters degree in Forensic Accounting, and a Bachelors degree in Accounting, all from the College at Brockport (SUNY). Ronnie currently serves on the board for the Rochester Chapter of Financial Executives International. In June 2023, Ronnie was nominated and selected as a “Rising Star” for the Rochester Business Journals Final Leaders Awards.

Engineering Solutions Manager | Business DevelopmentÂ
Lee serves Vanteon as an Engineering Solutions Manager, developing business relationships with key partners and clients in embedded systems, hardware design, RF design, and signal processing. Before Vanteon, he held roles at GE Inspection Technologies and Everest VIT spanning project management, test engineering, manufacturing, and hardware design — giving him broad technical experience across small and large high-growth businesses.
Lee holds an Electrical Engineering degree from RIT (1998) and remains active as an Adjunct Advisor for RIT’s Multi-Disciplinary Senior Design Program. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching motorcycle track riding for Evolve GT and test riding the RIT Electric Vehicle Team’s race bike.

Engineering Solutions ManagerÂ
Al serves as an Engineering Solutions Manager at Vanteon, identifying and engaging with new clients and developing proposals for complex technology-based solutions. Before Vanteon, he was Director of Engineering at D3 Embedded, leading a team focused on custom embedded systems, and prior to that held Senior Sales Management roles at Newport Corporation and MKS Instruments serving the semiconductor industry.
Al holds a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from RIT and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.

Massimo Amadio | LinkedIn
Senior Project Manager
Massimo serves as Vanteon’s Senior Project Manager, leading engineering teams, managing programs, and collaborating closely with clients to deliver results. He brings deep expertise in project management, engineering leadership, and process improvement, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Prior to Vanteon, Massimo held roles at Z-AXIS and ITT, where he focused on engineering management, purchasing, and lean disciplines. He holds an MBA with a Marketing major and Finance minor from RIT (1999) and a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology, also from RIT (1994). Outside of work, Massimo enjoys playing soccer and ball hockey.

Senior Project Manager
Chris serves as one of Vanteon’s Senior Project managers, leading engineering teams and acting as the primary liaison with customers across requirements gathering, systems engineering, and hardware fabrication. He brings over 30 years of software engineering and project management experience, contributing broadly to process definition, quality assurance, and mentoring across the organization.
Chris holds a BS in Computer Science from SUNY Brockport and an AS in Communications from Monroe Community College. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, skiing, and camping.

Senior Project Manager
Gary serves as Vanteon’s Senior Project Manager, leading engineering teams and engaging with clients to deliver custom solutions in RF communications and embedded electronics. Prior to Vanteon, he held engineering management and systems engineering roles at BAE Systems and L3Harris.
Gary holds an MS in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a BS in Computer Engineering from Binghamton University.

Luke Postema | LinkedIn
Senior Project Manager
Luke serves as a Senior Project Manager at Vanteon, leading engineering teams to deliver innovative products with expertise in imaging, video systems, signal processing, and AI/Deep Learning. Prior to Vanteon, he was Director of Software Engineering at OWL Autonomous Imaging, applying AI to thermal imaging for automotive safety, and has also contributed to medical imaging and other safety-critical projects.
Luke holds a BSEE from Cedarville University and an M.Eng from Cornell University, specializing in DSP and digital communications. On weekends, he enjoys restoring his 200-year-old farmhouse and raising a small flock of chickens.
