Job Summary:
Responsible for RF and Microwave circuit design, analysis and simulation for wireless communications systems in the 125 KHz to 6 GHz frequency bands.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• RF design simulations, design specifications, schematics, and board layouts.
• Participates in the product design, integration, and testing.
• Provide project estimates and technical support for the sales process.
• Mentor junior-level embedded engineers.
Education and Prior Work Experience:
• BS EE, MS preferred
• 10+ years experience in RF design and development.
• U.S. Citizenship required. Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
• Digital communications and RF systems experience, including link margin/system gain analysis.
• Microstrip/Stripline design.
• Experience with RF microwave or analog circuit design software: Genesys, Momentum, Spectrasys, SPICE.
• Experience designing VHF/UHF/microwave filters, amplifiers, oscillators, and mixers.
• Experience using signal generators, network analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
• Understanding of nonlinear circuits, measurements, and simulation techniques.
• Synthesizer design.

Job Summary:
Perform Printed Circuit Board layout in support of hardware engineers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designing printed circuit boards that meet design for manufacturability and signal integrity goals of our various customers.
• Maintaining PCB files and CAD component library.
• Interfacing with fabrication houses, manufacturers, and customers.
• Willingness to learn leading-edge design techniques.
• Maintain integrated component libraries (both footprints and symbols)
• Support hardware engineers with minor rework and tracking board modifications
Education and Prior Work Experience:
• Associates degree in Electronics
• A minimum of 2 years related experience in printed circuit board layout, with an ability to demonstrate proficiency with layout tools.
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
• Thorough understanding of high-speed digital layouts and ability to interpret signal integrity results.
• Understanding high-power switching power supply layouts.
• Extensive knowledge in Electronic CAD software.
• Automated high volume electronic assembly techniques preferred.
• Complex PCB designs with 12+ layers.
• Low-noise analog and mixed signals boards.
• RF layout experience a plus.
• Altium Designer 6.x or newer
• Soldering for minor board rework.

Job Summary:
Performs system architectural design and implementation. Assists Project Manager/Leader with all technical aspects of a project. Assists in proposals, project plan development, task lists and milestone planning.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Implement embedded Linux software solutions, device drivers and board support packages
• Analyze systems for developing System Requirement Specifications
• Maintain project task lists and schedules
• Investigate and propose project-related technologies to meet requirements
• Provide project estimates and technical support for the Sales Process
• Ability to rapidly understand large existing code bases
• Mentor junior level embedded software engineers
• Create technical documentation including Software Requirements Specifications, Design Documents, and development notes.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers in design and integration efforts.
Education and Prior Work Experience:
• BS EE/CE/CS
• 5+ years experience in Linux kernel software development, 7+ years experience in embedded systems software
Specialized Skills and Knowledge:
• Experience in real-time embedded systems software development including: RTOSs, multi-threaded programming, distributed design, device drivers, hardware diagnostics, BIOS, interrupt handling and boot loader development.
• Proficiency with C, C++, and ability to work with assembly level for embedded microprocessors and/or DSPs
• Experience using embedded tools such as compilers, debuggers, ICE, Emulators
• Interface hardware/software design experience
• Proven track record of successful product completion and deployment
• Project leadership skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
