Image Content Technology LLC (ICT) produces a family of software products collectively known as Lucis (http://www.lucispro.com). The Lucis software performs state-of-the-art image processing using the patented Differential Hysteresis Processing algorithm. This brings out previously imperceptible detail throughout the image, even in the lightest and darkest areas, and is used both for analysis of scientific images and for artistic purposes. This software supports the Windows and Macintosh platforms, and is sold as Photoshop plugins or as a standalone application.

Since early 2008, Vanteon has been the software development and support arm for ICT. Using Vanteon's agile development process, we started with ICT's core technology and built all of the current generation of Lucis products around it. In the process, we performed major optimizations on the core algorithms, increasing their speed by up to 50% and increasing the maximum supported image size by orders of magnitude. We implemented sophisticated hardware-based security for the top-end Lucis software, and decreasing levels of security for the lesser versions, down to the free-to-download time-limited demonstration version.

To date, Vanteon has shipped five versions of the flagship Lucis Pro software, and several versions of each of the other products. We have worked directly with end users to resolve rarely-encountered issues, and with component vendors to ensure that their technologies integrated smoothly.
